Over the past few years, the European Union has been inching toward a very large expansion: in 2004, 10 countries joined the Union. What makes this series even more attractive is that it brings the United States specifically into the mix of Eastern and Western Europe in an attempt to understand the tectonic forces currently causing a geopolitical drift.
