George Brooks
   

George Brooks, Chairman of the Board of the Ashburn Institute since January 2004, is one of the last board members who used to work with AUD Founder Clarence Streit as well as the Hon. Henry P. Smith, III. While in college he wrote a "white paper" on a world federation that he sent to all the members of the U.S. Senate and selected members of the House without knowing about the existence of any non-profit organizations related to these issues. His white paper created minimal response, but allowed him to join the World Federalist Organization (of which he later became a Board member), meet Clarence Streit , and join the Board of Directors of the Association to Unite the Democracies and more recently of the Ashburn Institute. Currently, Mr. Brooks is a financial/budget analyst at Lockheed Martin Tactical Defense , Florida . During the last decades he worked with Florida Sea Company (Information Analyst), Paragon Properties (Director of Real Estate Management), Arthur Young & Company (Management Consultant). George Brooks earned his BA from the University of Massachusetts , Boston and obtained an MBA from Rice University , Houston , Texas .
